“My husband and I didn’t know how to plan our own wedding. We wanted something small, personal, and completely intimate. I saw Nicolas’ photos online and immediately fell in love with them. I’m also a photographer, so I could immediately tell he has a great eye for light and composition, but he also knows how to capture the best ‘moments.’
We hired Nicolas, flew to French Polynesia, and felt a bit nervous (we’re both used to being behind the camera rather than in front of it). Nicolas helped us every step of the way. He kept us excited through emails, helping us prepare for the big day. And on the day itself, he and his wife, Amélie, arrived early and set up everything—from choosing the perfect spot on the island of Moorea at just the right time for incredible lighting, to placing fresh flowers on the beach. They both brought life and joy to our quiet, peaceful moment. They even sent us a few preview shots the same day—they’re phenomenal. We’re by no means models, but Nicolas and Amélie made us feel incredibly beautiful.
