A Tahiti photoshoot where you come as you are

Some requests don't fit the usual frame.

When Miss Marilyn reached out about a session with her son Maverik, she made one thing clear from the start. There would be pink. Feather boas, bold floral outfits, and an energy that doesn't ask anyone for permission. Two wonderfully eccentric personalities with a very precise idea of who they are.

So we did what we always do. We said yes to their world... and applied our standards.

Your world, my frame

This might be the most important thing this session has to say.

So many people hesitate to book a photoshoot because they're afraid they won't "fit the mold." Too quirky, too shy, too much of this, not enough of that... As if there were an ideal profile required to deserve beautiful images.

Miss Marilyn and Maverik prove the opposite.

They showed up with their style, their boas, their one of a kind bond. And I showed up with what never changes: golden hour, reading the light, taking all the time we need. A signature session, exactly like every client receives. Because the frame isn't there to shape people into something else. It's there to reveal who they already are.

Golden hour flatters everyone

We met at the end of the day, when the light turns golden and soft.

That's when everything clicked. This light embraces everyone, no exceptions. It brushed the pink feathers, warmed the floral prints, softened the black sand beach, and set the Atimaono coconut grove aglow. The contrast between their flamboyant outfits and the gentle Polynesian backdrop... that's exactly what gives these images their power.

The aerial view, to tell a bigger story

The session also included drone photography.

From above, the Atimaono coconut grove becomes an endless green carpet, the mountains of Tahiti rise in the background, and in the middle of it all... two little pink silhouettes, joyfully standing out. These images say something no ground level photo can: their story, set against the immensity of the island.

That's what the drone brings. Not a gimmick, another scale entirely. And as a certified professional drone pilot, fully compliant with French Polynesia's regulations, I can offer that dimension safely and legally.

A mother and son bond you can't fake

Beyond the outfits and the colors, what stays with you from this session is them.

A mother and her son who share the same spark. Walking together along the river, laughing, owning every moment. That kind of connection can't be staged. It exists, or it doesn't. My job is simply to create the conditions for it to show... and to be there when it does.

Adult parent and child sessions are rarer than classic family shoots. And what a gift they are. These images hold a relationship at one precise moment in life, and they'll only grow more precious with the years.

Come as you are, truly

Yes, this session was out of the ordinary. That's exactly why it deserved to be told.

You don't need to match a certain image to live a signature session in Tahiti. You don't need to know how to pose, or wear white and beige, or look like the photos filling your feed. You just need to show up as yourself. The light, the location, the timing... that's my job.
