Hello, I'm Nicolas Hirigoyen, a professional photographer based in Tahiti. My creative hub is nestled in Faa’a, where visual magic comes to life. Photography has been my passion since childhood, leading me to pursue my secondary studies at the School of Photography of Arts and Media in Toulouse, ETPA.

I've called Polynesia home for over two decades. Bringing my sensitivity and expertise to your sessions, I aim to make each one uniquely yours. Crafting tailor-made projects that align with your desires is something I take pride in. My photo sessions are all about capturing your essence with a natural and poetic touch.

I draw inspiration from iconic photographers like Jean-Loup Sieff, Helmut Newton, Peter Lindbergh, Ralph Gibson—masters of the art of bodies and black and white. In 2018, I exhibited my artistic work at the Maison de la Culture de Papeete, and in 2019, 2021, and 2022, I participated in collective exhibitions showcasing the talents of Polynesian photographers.

Operating mainly in natural light, my foundational training in the early days of digital photography has allowed me to master the subtle art of working with light, which I believe is the essence of a photographer. My personal work and art prints are available for purchase on my website.

Known for my relaxed, natural approach and the ability to make even the most uncomfortable subject feel fabulous in front of the lens, my success as a photographer is built on the foundation of stunning images and strong interpersonal skills. Clients often seek after my product offering, finding value in the unique touch I bring to each session.

My warmth and charm have endeared me to many clients, who return again and again to ensure that key moments in their lives are 'preserved' forever through my lens. However, it is the enchanting quality of my images that truly stands out – they are more than photographs; they are genuine objects of art. Crafted with care, these images are not only admired today but will be cherished for decades to come.

SIGNATURE Session

• Our discussions to find out your desires, advice and support

• A welcome guide, to prepare for the session and all my secrets for photos Wow!

• A preliminary meeting if you wish: a coffee, a video, phone calls or Instagram DMs, I remain at your disposal

• The photo shoot which lasts approximately 1h30

• The selection of all the best photos selected by me Post-processing of color and/or black and white photos.

• Delivery of digital photos ( +75) in high definition and in web version to a private gallery within 2 to 3 weeks

• Handing over a USB key

• Printing rights

WEDDING DESTINATION & ELOPEMENT

To confirm the date of your photo shoot, you will be asked for a minimum deposit of 30% by transfer to secure the date. The balance of your session will be payable on the day of the session or by bank transfer within 3 days and before the delivery of the photos. If the session were to be canceled and could not be postponed, you would be fully reimbursed for the deposit paid.

What Happens Next?

You are booked in, deposit paid and your shoot date confirmed, now you are wondering what the process is from here...

It's time to plan what to wear, I will send you a welcome guide with a lot of tips on how to plan your families ou your couple attire for your session.

Your session! The day before you can expect a text to confirm your session, make sure everyone is happy, healthy and ready to go.

If you need to reschedule our appointment for any reason, I would like to be notified as soon as possible. Likewise if you have to postpone the session by a few minutes or an hour for the personal organization with the children in particular. Whatever may happen during your sessions, I respect your pace, I will adapt to the situation. The secret is to take your time

After your session...

Once your final payment is made, I will be able to send you a preview because I know you are dying to discover your images.

You will receive all the photos of the session and you will not have to make a choice, they will all belong to you.

I keep your final files for about 3 months, but I encourage you to download and save your session images to the USB key given during your session or a hard drive as soon as possible so that you know they are safe.

I would love if you could share your positive experience with your family and friends, even a shout out on social media if your share your images would be appreciated, my business thrives on word of mouth bookings which is the biggest compliment.

Location

The first thing to remember when choosing a location for your session is to determine the atmosphere you want. Choose a place that suits you, in which you feel comfortable, Tahiti & Moorea present a wide choice of places and landscapes that will make the staging unique. I am at your disposal to discuss it and can suggest places and atmospheres according to the tone you want to give to your photos. It is also possible to plan an itinerary, the key is to take our time.

I only shoot after the sunrise early in the morning, or for the sunset session
