Hello, I'm Nico, a professional photographer in Tahiti.

My home studio is located in Faa'a, a place where visual art comes to life. Passionate about photography since childhood, I completed my secondary studies at ETPA, the photography and media arts school in Toulouse.

Living in Polynesia for over 25 years, my beginnings in the 2000s saw me become the studio photographer for a well-known address in downtown Papeete. Faced with digital evolution and the gradual disappearance of photography shops, I pivoted to the technology sector.

My return to my photographic passion materialized with the creation, alongside my wife, of a jewelry brand. In charge of visual campaigns, I broadened my horizons by collaborating with other local creators and professionals. Fashion photo shoots for magazines nourished my inspiration, leading me to offer my services to individuals, specializing in outdoor sessions to take advantage of the magnificent setting that Polynesia offers.

I bring my sensitivity and expertise to each session to make them unique: portrait, wedding and lifestyle photography in Polynesia. Fascinated by the great masters of photography such as Jean-loup Sieff, Helmut Newton, Peter Lindbergh, and Ralph Gibson, I have a particular admiration for the art of bodies and the expressiveness of black and white. My artistic commitment materialized in 2018 during a solo exhibition at the Maison de la Culture in Papeete. Since 2019, I have had the honor of participating in collective exhibitions showcasing the talent of Polynesian photographers. Exhibitions and awards.

My approach is essentially based on the use of natural light. Trained at the dawn of digital photography, I precisely master this subtle art of playing with light, considered the very essence of the photographer. This skill, combined with my love for black and white, is reflected in my artistic work.
