Tahiti couples photoshoot to celebrate 25 years of love

Some anniversaries deserve more than a dinner reservation. Amy and Chris were celebrating two milestones at once... 25 years of love and their 50th birthdays. So they flew to Tahiti. And they chose a signature session to mark the moment, for real.

A signature session is so much more than an hour together

We start beneath the lush greenery of Vaipahi. A stone bench, tropical flowers, the soft shade of tall trees. This is where you settle in, where the camera fades away. Amy leans into Chris's shoulder, and 25 years of connection do the rest.

No stiff posing here. Just a word, a suggestion, a step to the side. Real life takes care of everything else.

Chapter two: the Atimaona coconut grove

As the light starts to drop, we head to the Atimaona coconut grove. The trunks stretch skyward, the sun filters through the palms, everything turns gold. This is the light I've been chasing across French Polynesia for 25 years. It wraps around you, it flatters everyone, it tells the story.

A kiss in the tall grass, a forehead kiss, two silhouettes walking hand in hand. Simple gestures. But one look at them and you understand right away: these two have loved each other for a very long time.

Final chapter: black sand at sunset

We end barefoot on the black sand, facing the lagoon. Tahiti's mountains melt into the evening haze, the coconut palms stand against the sky. Amy and Chris don't need me anymore to know what to do. They hold hands, they laugh, they are simply there. Fully.

That's exactly what a signature session is. We take our time. We follow the light. And I never check my watch.
