Proposal photographer in Moorea: how we organize it
You have the ring. You already know the answer.
What you don't have yet is the place. The light. The plan. And maybe a little peace of mind about pulling this off in a destination you've never been to before.
That's exactly where we come in.
We do this all the time. And we love it.
Most of the people who reach out to us are planning from far away. The US, mostly. Sometimes Europe or Australia. The excitement is real so is the quiet stress of organizing something this important in a place you don't know yet.
We also work with couples already living in French Polynesia who want the moment to feel as big as what they're feeling.
Either way, our approach is the same. Before we talk locations or logistics, we want to know who you are and who she is. What you love doing together. What kind of moment this should feel like.
From there, we find the right spot. Moorea, Tahiti, or further into the islands we know the light, the angles, the beaches worth stopping at, and the exact time of day when everything lines up perfectly.
Surprise or not you decide
Some couples want the proposal to be a complete surprise. Others prefer to plan it together. Both work beautifully, and we've done both more times than we can count.
If it's a surprise, we disappear into the scenery. You'll barely notice us. But we're there, ready for the exact second it happens, for the reaction, for the look that changes everything.
If you're planning it together, we build it as a team of three. Different energy, equally powerful.
The details that make it real
Emotion lives in the small things.
We work with the best florists and decorators in Tahiti. A secret flower arrangement waiting at the spot. A glass of champagne that appears at just the right moment. Love letters read out loud facing the lagoon. A Polaroid placed in your hands before you even leave something tangible, something you can hold that same evening.
We don't hand you a fixed menu of options to check off. We build this moment with you, around what you actually want it to be.
Why video isn't optional for a proposal
A photo captures the instant. The look. The tear. The hand that shakes a little.
But a proposal is also a voice. A sound. A silence. A reaction that unfolds over several seconds and sounds like nothing else in the world. A photo can't give you that back.
That's why Amélie is there. While I work the light and the image, she captures the movement, the behind-the-scenes, the small details, the emotion as it happens in real time. Two different perspectives, shot simultaneously, completely complementary.
The next morning or within 24 to 48 hours you receive a vertical film, edited with music, ready to watch, ready to share with your family back home, ready to keep forever. Plus all the raw footage, so you can relive every second of it on your own terms.
Drone coverage, when the sky agrees
When the conditions are right, aerial footage changes the scale of the whole moment. The beach becomes vast. The lagoon opens up. And that small point in the middle of all of it — the two of you — takes on a completely different meaning.
I'm a certified professional drone pilot, fully compliant with French Polynesia's regulations in effect since January 2026. We plan the flight paths in advance and handle all authorizations. If the wind has other plans that day, we adapt — nature gets the final word.
But when it all comes together... it's something else entirely.
What you receive, and when
We don't make you wait weeks to find out if the moment was documented well.
The same evening or the next morning, you already have your first images. That's non-negotiable for us, because we know what it feels like to wait when you've just lived through something like this.
Then, within 24 to 48 hours: the edited video film, all raw footage, and your first photos.
Within 15 to 20 days: your full private gallery, hosted on a premium platform, accessible anytime, shareable with everyone you love no matter where they are. Every photo worth keeping. No arbitrary limit, no forced selection. Everything that tells the story.
How it starts
One message. That's all.
WhatsApp works perfectly, it's how most of our conversations happen, and it's by far the easiest way to stay in touch throughout the whole process. We're with you from the very first question to the moment your gallery lands in your inbox.
Tell us where you are in the planning, what you're imagining, what you want this moment to feel like. We take it from there.
Moorea, Tahiti, or further out in the islands we'll find it.
Ready to start planning? Send us a message, we'd love to hear the story.
